Team set to welcome new asset to the fleet.

Picture
January 21st 2017 will see a new rescue boat join our fleet. SARA 26 the "Stuart Frost" will be added to the team during a ceremony at Stourport Rowing Club.

The boat will be dedicated to the memory of our friend and team-mate Stuart Frost who tragically lost his life in a road accident. We believe its a fitting legacy for a man that committed his life to supporting those in need.

Fundraising drive to access rescue courses.

Many of the qualifications we hold are valid for 3 years, this ensures that we are always up to date with best practice.
The SARA Wyre Forest team is committed to providing the best possible training for our volunteers.

Often we are called to deal with dangerous situations and environments.  Access to the best training sources is paramount, but it comes at a significant price!

This year we have set up a fundraising target of £8,000.00 to meet the costs of vital training. The training packages to continue to provide search and rescue services to the community.

Courses include:
  • 7x Swiftwater Rescue Boat Operator
  • 7x Rope Rescue Operator
  • 2x Water Incident Manager Courses
If you would like more information or would like to donate toward this fund please contact the team.
