SARA Wyre Forest is a volunteer search and rescue team with lifeboats based at Kidderminster Fire Station in the West Midlands. We are embedded within Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service, but are funded solely by public donations. SARA support all of the emergency services by the provision of a highly trained and equipped volunteer search and rescue team. Our team is one of 6 that makes up the association which covers the length of the River Severn and areas of land and water that surround it. We provide 24hr emergency cover, 365 days a year to the full time emergency services, all of which has been funded by generous donations since 1973.
