Fundraise for Us

As well as the day-to-day running costs associated with providing a search and rescue service, we have a number of funding projects. The funds received for a particular project can only be used for that project and are known as ring-fenced funding. As you will see below, our projects relate mainly to rescue equipment and training.

Rope Rescue Kit Fund

This equipment is needed to gain access to steep and vertical terrain, it must be kept up to date as it has a limited lifespan. The items include helmets and harnesses along with other safety devices to keep crew and patient safe.

Swift-water Rescue Boat Operator Courses

Due to the expansion of the team, we have a now need to train up more rescue boat operators. This training is currently supplied by an outside organisation and is recognised by the emergency services nationally. We have identified that we need to put 7 crew through this course.

Working on powerboats in fast moving floodwater is dangerous and demands the highest levels of training and experience. We would be grateful for your support in this project, thank you.
